A wildfire burning in a rugged, wooded area of Nebraska grew to more than 6,600 acres but hundreds of firefighters have managed to contain the blaze.

The Jones Road Wildfire in Ocean County, N.J. is now considered a case of arson sparked by an unattended bonfire, authorities say.

Joseph Kling, 19, was charged with aggravated arson and arson in connection with the wildfire that started in Waretown on Tuesday, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer, New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Commissioner Shawn M. LaTourette and Ocean Township Chief of Police Michal Rogalski said.

A New Jersey teenager has been charged with arson in connection with a wildfire in the Pinelands region that has already scorched 15,000 acres and could grow into the largest blaze in the state since 2007,

Authorities have charged a 19-year-old with arson for allegedly starting the fire, which has burned more than 15,000 acres.

The air in the city is unhealthy for some groups because of a fire that has been burning in the Pine Barrens since Tuesday.
