Impossible – The Final Reckoning” soared to the top of China’s box office over the May 30–June 1 weekend, earning RMB184.5 million ($25.6 million), according to Artisan Gateway. The film’s high-octane action sequences and Imax screenings contributed to its strong performance.

The Final Reckoning will supposedly mark the last time Tom Cruise and Christopher McQuarrie team up for this long-running action franchise, but it certainly won’t be their final collaboration altogether.
