Multiple tornadoes ripped though South Dakota and Minnesota, leaving thousands without power and causing damage across both states.

Tanner Charles, a Minnesota-based storm chaser, was among those who captured dramatic video of the dangerous tornado.

Tornado sirens were activated multiple times on Saturday evening throughout Deuel County as the storm system moved through. Over the course of the evening, multiple tornado warnings were issued for the county, and several tornadoes were confirmed to have touched down in various areas, according to the NWS.
