A judge says Sean “Diddy” Combs can’t go home from jail to await sentencing on his prostitution-related conviction.

Sean Combs will stay in jail as he awaits sentencing for prostitution-related crimes, a court has ruled. U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian on Monday denied Combs’ bid to be released, finding that this history of violence shows that he could pose a dangers to others.

The music mogul, who was convicted in July of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, had asked to be released before his sentencing on Oct. 3.
