A day after cutting ties with skipper Dave Martinez and GM Mike Rizzo, the Nationals turn to former utilityman Miguel Cairo as interim manager.

Martinez had spent eight years with the organization, while Rizzo was promoted to general manager in 2009. Mike DeBartolo will take over as interim GM; an interim manager will be announced Monday, the team said.
