NFL Films agreed that it looked like a vintage throwback matchup. In a post on Thursday night, NFL Films put out a side-by-side comparison of when the Broncos played the Cowboys in Super Bowl XII and Week 8. The comparison had similar camera angles from the 1970s to now, fans (look at the hairdos!) and of course, the classic NFL Films soundtrack.

Left guard Ben Powers was off to his best season with the Broncos, but is currently out with a biceps injury. Matt Peart struggled in his one start replacing Powers, but part of those issues can be attributed to the torn MCL he suffered during the Broncos' Week 6 London tilt vs. the New York Jets.

The Broncos are the first team in NFL history with at least 35 sacks on defense and 10 or fewer sacks allowed on offense in the first eight games of a season.

Denver Broncos kicker Wil Lutz has been named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Month for October, the NFL announced Thursday. It's the second such honor for Lutz with the Broncos, who also received the award in November 2023.
