The Volunteers’ Joey Aguilar threw for 396 yards and three touchdowns, connecting on 20 of 26 passes, including completions of 35, 47, 62, 50 and 56 yards. Kentucky’s Cutter Boley did his best to keep the Cats close, throwing for a UK freshman record five TDs and completing 26 of 35 passes for 330 yards with an interception.
Tennessee has scored at least 34 points in all but one game this season, while the Wildcats have averaged just 15 points in their 4 conference games. The Volunteers will be looking for a major bounce-back win that includes better play in all facets of the game. Expect the road team to pounce on the Wildcats early and often Saturday night.
