Army personnel began removing "Fort Cavazos" from signage at the massive armored infantry post in Central Texas.

Fort Cavazos is one of the army posts that is returning to its original name, Fort Hood. The army post in Killeen, Texas has been operating under the title of Fort Cavazos since 2023
