Chelsea won the FIFA Club World Cup final against Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday, 3-0, which has nothing to do with President Donald Trump, but that didn’t stop the spotlight-loving former reality TV star from trying to steal some of their shine by staying onstage for the winning celebration.
The Club World Cup champions didn't, contrary to online rumors, edit the president from its snap. But critics do think the image choice made a statement.
On Sunday, the president attended the Club World Cup final award ceremony after Chelsea beat PSG, 3-0. He joined FIFA President Gianni Infantino on the pitch at MetLife Stadium, where fans audibly booed before he stood and waved to the crowd.
