Actor Noel Clarke has lost his High Court libel case against the publisher of The Guardian, over a series of news articles which featured claims from a number of women. The first article, published in April 2021, said some 20 women who knew Clarke in a professional capacity had come forward with allegations of sexual misconduct.

LONDON (Reuters) -British actor and filmmaker Noel Clarke lost his libel lawsuit against The Guardian newspaper on Friday over accusations of sexual misconduct towards women. London's High Court ruled that the accusations were substantially true and that the reports were in the public interest.
