The Denver Broncos might’ve walked out of NRG Stadium with a 7–2 record and sole possession of first place in the AFC West, but don’t mistake this one for a victory lap. Their 18–15 win over the Houston Texans was more of an escape act.
When Wil Lutz authored a 34-yard kick to end the fourth quarter on Sunday afternoon, the 7-2 Denver Broncos topped the Houston Texans, 18-15, and secured their first six-game winning streak since the franchise's last Super Bowl winner back in 2015.
The Denver Broncos squeaked by the Houston Texans on the leg of Wil Lutz, who nailed a 34-yard field goal to secure the 18-15 win. After dropping 44 points on the Cowboys, the Broncos’ offense came crashing down to earth with questionable decisions and execution all around, but the defense stepped up big to keep them in the game.
Bo Nix threw two touchdown passes and Wil Litz made a 34-yard field goal as time expired and the Broncos extended their winning streak to six games.

The Broncos' third-phase snafus kept the Texans in the game throughout. The Broncos came out on top 18-15, though, thanks to another furious fourth-quarter comeback by Bo Nix and company.
