Lakes across Central Texas are once again dealing with high water levels after recent rains and floods caused them to quickly rise.

Texas officials assessing flood damage are urging residents to use iSTAT survey for help tracking damage to property caused by flooding.

As Central Texas begins the long road to recovery after the deadly flooding, communities are coming together to rebuild. However, questions continue to grow about the response at the county level.

MIDLAND, Texas — A memorial will be held on Monday, July 21, for the Midland family who died in the July 4 Central Texas flooding disaster, family friends confirmed with NewsWest 9 on Wednesday. The memorial for Kyndall Ramos, Tasha Ramos, Joel Ramos, Shellie Crossland, and Cody Crossland will be held at The Horseshoe Arena at 11 a.m.
