Why the Cincinnati Bengals should clean house after Jets loss
The Cincinnati Bengals are coming off the worst loss in recent memory after allowing the winless New York Jets to come to town and leave with their first win of the season. The Bengals offense posted 38 points, which should be more than enough, but football is a team sport, and the Bengals defense gave up a Jets season-best 39 points.
Hall accounted for three touchdowns as the Jets had more than 500 yards of total offense in their comeback victory.
Breece Hall ran for two touchdowns and threw the winning TD pass as New York erased a 15-point deficit late to win 39-38 on Sunday.
Cincinnati didn't waste time making New York pay for its decision on the failed 4th-and-1 conversion. The Bengals went 35 yards on five plays in 2:41 as Joe Flacco scored on the quarterback keeper from just outside the end zone after a Semaje Perine 10-yard run was stopped just short of the goal line.
