In a departure that took almost as long as Siri needs to find some obscure music requests, Apple has announced a new vice president of AI: Amar Subramanya, who will replace former AI chief John Giannandrea.

AI, artificial intelligence latecomer’ Apple has replaced its AI head. Bloomberg reported on the 2nd that John Giannandrea, who oversaw Apple’s AI, will step down. Giannandrea is expected to serve in an advisory role until his retirement early next year.
