One poster mentioned an hour wait even though she had timed tickets. No mention was made if they went on a weekday or holiday weekend, etc We are going today- a Wednesday- ticket is for 1 pm Should we skip lunch or eat a to-go lunch on the line… or are weekdays now more manageable?

Is the outdoor memorial lit up after dark? We were planning to go to the museum mid-afternoon in late December, and would like to do the memorial afterwards if it's not too dark.
